Super Nintendo SNES Supercic & uIGR region mod, dual frequency oscillator (DFO) and de-jitter board for all SNES and Super Famicom consoles. Includes mod board and common cathode red/blue LED.

The PCB is compatible with any Super Nintendo (PAL or NTSC) or Super Famicom console regardless of whether it is a 3 chip or 1 chip console, however the installation does vary for different motherboards and requires specific jumpers to be closed depending on this. PLEASE NOTE-soldering ability is required to install this modification.

The mod PCB also has the dejitter function which fixes the jittery sync signal provided by the SNES and allows greater compatibility with upscaler devices and modern displays. The dual frequency oscillator (DFO) is programmed with correct PAL and NTSC frequencies meaning that the console will run with the correct timings. To operate the supercic functions you must hold down and then release the reset button when the desired power light colour is visible. The power light colour corresponds with the following region settings Red=NTSC 60hz Blue=PAL 50hz Purple=Auto mode (detects the region of the cartridge and starts in that mode) PAL games can be started in 50hz mode and then switched to 60hz mode for full screen, full speed gameplay.

The uIGR (in game reset) allows all of the above to be operated using the controller (so you don't have to get up to press the reset button).
